NEW TO MY COLLECTION
I NOW HAVE 8 TRUWOOD WATCHES IN MY COLLECTION AND I LOVE THEM ALL!
7 months later.
I had my TruWood traveler watch for 7 months now. I wanted to write a real review giving the watch a test of time. I believe in real reviews and for a product to withstand durability throughout time to really rate the product. I do not write reviews right away for rewards or to gain anything in return. So here is my honest review about my TruWood Traveler. Overall, to cut to the chase, the watch is amazing and stands up to anything life (and people) throw at it. For example, I once was walking in my house wearing my watch and accidentally smacked my watch against the wooden molding in the doorway really hard. I freaked out because there was wood flakes and debris on the watch. After further inspection I saw the wood was from the molding and not from my watch. The watch was completely unmarked, and the doorway molding was damaged. Watch vs. wall = watch won. Another incident was when my significant other spilled coffee all over the table in which my watch was sitting on. I was highly concerned the wood on the watch/watch band would get stained or even swell because of the liquid. However, with a damp paper towel I cleaned my watch and then dried it. The watch was perfect. I had it for 7 months as mentioned earlier and I bought this watch to use as a “workhorse” because I did not want to damage a special Seiko that was given to me from my grandfather. I wear this watch everywhere and never take it off even when one should take a watch off to prevent damaging it. (Working on cars and doing yard work). There are no marks or chips on it anywhere and the glass it perfect with no scratches or imperfections. The only thing that changed on the watch was the “TruWood” logo on the band faded a little but is still legible. (Obviously, not a big deal but wanted to point it out.) And, the most important thing a watch is supposed to do is that it keeps time perfectly and this watch does. I only change the time on it when the clocks must be changed for daylight savings time. Other than that, I never change the time because it keeps time perfectly and I am a real stickler for when watches loose time. I can really say this product is 5 out of 5 stars and I look over, inspect, and criticize any product I purchase in life. I just must. Thanks, TruWood for making a very nice and durable product and for also planting trees when people buy your watches in return. It means a lot.
