Bold & Daring
The TruWood Belle collection is a paradigm shift. Its thin band, and low profile is contrasted by its rare and natural design.
Belle is French for “beautiful", which this collection is rightfully named after. Some watches are meant to be practical, used everyday, nothing stylish. This is where we beg to differ! Practical and trendy do not have to be mutually exclusive, and the TruWood Abelia is proof. This trendy watch is made with a perfect combination of black sandalwood and a mother of pearl dial with silver markings, giving it an unmistakable look that is the perfect marriage of luxury and practicality. Truly a dream watch for any fashionista.

The watch itself is nice and of good quality. What is disappointing is the lack of attention to detail, especially when it comes to the finishing touches. I bought this as a gift and it came in a beautiful white decorative box with a black smudge right on the top. Fortunately, there's a wooden box inside that is in good condition. The engraving I requested also used quotation marks "" these were replaced with the words '" ... "'. I would expect a human to catch something like this and reach out to ask if the substition was ok, fix it back to what was requested, or remove the quotation marks to keep the engraving classy.
I really cannot wait to give these as gifts this Christmas
This is such a classy piece. I usually find women’s watches too small-faced but this lovely one had a face measuring 35mm across, yet feels feminine. I absolutely love it!
She's pretty, light of weight and fine to touch
It’s a beautiful watch. Very lightweight and comfortable.
Overall I am impressed with this watch. It’s a lovely watch and for the price it looks nicer (i.e. more expensive) than it cost. That’s great! So as a jewelry or decorative piece the watch makes a pretty accessory. You can’t tell from the image on the website but the metal clips holding the watch together almost don’t fit the elegant design. The metal looks/seems slightly tacky next to the beautiful wood. Finally, I mentioned this to the company and just want to emphasize again: the watches are beautiful but in the images potential customers are only able to see what they look like on white models. The company suggested that the reason for this is that they have yet to hire models and are only using the photographer/his girlfriend. An insufficient excuse in my opinion (we don’t know non-white people so we’re doing the best we can). From the photos I thought the dark colored watch would look good against my skin but it would have been helpful to see what the dark wood looked like before I purchased the watch (I am brown skinned). It looks ok and overall I’m happy with the watch. I now wonder if a lighter colored wood would have looked better on me. The watches are inexpensive enough that I can purchase another one, yet it would have been helpful to see the watches on a variety of skin tones (especially because the wood makes each watch quite unique).
As the legal case went to Trial, I wore my Truwood Abelia in Court. The judge took a second look from the Bench when I placed the Brief before him. He asked, "Is that a Truwood watch you are wearing?" I smiled and nodded.
