Gift for my husband
We love the watch. The colours are great and awesome how light weight. The only hard part is sizing the band. If there could be a half link, that would be perfect. Right now in the winter it is either too tight or very loose. We also had to purchase a watch band kit to adjust ourselves, would have been nice to have included:-) But over all quality is great. We look forward to getting another one.
It is a fancy watch and in very high quality. It is different than any watch we could get since it's wood. The packaging is elegant also. Highly recommended
It’s a watch.
While I have only just received the product, I do have a few things that I can already comment on. The products packaging is a bit excessive. For a company that is trying to come up with a more sustainable product there sure was a lot of cardboard and plastic air cushions. The cardboard can be reused rather easily, but it’s hard to find another use for the air cushions. After getting through 2 layers of cardboard, the wooden box was finally revealed. It’s a very smooth finish with no nicks or dings, the attention to detail was very apparent. The box also has a pull out drawer which contained the warranty information, and a microfiber cleaning cloth inside yet more plastic. The top of the box is held on by a rather weak magnet but that’s probably a positive as it shouldn’t damage the watch. On to the watch itself. Same story as the storage box, a very high attention to detail and superb craftsmanship. The double clasp threw me for a loop at first glance, making me believe that I had wasted money on a watch I wouldn’t be able to wear. That however was my issue, not an issue with the watch. I will say that if the band were any smaller, I would be unable to wear it. If you have a smaller wrist you may be able to take links out, but I can not be 100% sure at this time. Something else that may be a good thing to consider in the future is the ability to purchase extra links, if they are indeed able to be added/removed as a normal band would be. Else one may have to purchase a nato strap which would ruin the aesthetic of this otherwise great all wood watch.
